Liberty Baptist Church began in 1977. Pastor Bruce & Mrs. Sharon Caldwell have been serving faithfully our community for 47 years.
Our Worship service blends the old hymns with new contemporary praise music, with teaching & preaching of Bible Truths.
No matter what your background or present circumstances. Our hope is that, Liberty Baptist Church is the place for you!
The purpose of this church shall be to glorify Christ and to strive to carry out the great commission of our Lord (Matt. 28:18-20) by the help of God through the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 3:9) and to provide fellowship for God’s people.
The Great Commission generally includes four desires of God throughout the Bible. Pastor Chris Hodges brought some unbelievers in to put in their words how they would descirbe the primary purpose of the Great Commission and they are included below. (Chris Hodges - Talking Church podcast)
1. Get lost people saved. - To know God.
2. Get saved people pastored. - To find freedom. (There are things in everyones lives that we would be better without. Help people through their struggles and issues.)
3. Get pastored people deciplied. - To learn and discover purpose.
4. Get decipiled people mobilized - Make a difference.
